The 914th Civil Engineer Squadron from the 914th Air Refueling Wing at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, N.Y. traveled to Crystal Springs, Miss. for two weeks in March 2021 to participate in the Innovative Readiness Training program for the Mississippi's Toughest Kids Foundation, Camp Kamassa project. The camp is specially designed to help kids with special needs who are often unable to attend camp due to a lack of special needs resources and access capability. The 914th CES were able to train on several areas of large construction while helping build infrastructure for a community. For more information on the IRT program, visit irt.defense.gov.
