    Federal Vaccine Response

U.S. Coast Guard Lt. j.g. Brandon Towle, the planning section chief for U.S. Coast Guard Sector Air Station Corpus Christi, speaks about the role the Coast Guard plays in supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and other Department of Defense organizations, and what it means to him to play a firsthand role in helping to assist in vaccinating Americans at the Fair Park Community Vaccination Center (CVC) in Dallas, March 18, 2021. Through a federal validation process, it was determined that U.S. service members could assist FEMA in its national effort to help vaccinate American citizens. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
