U.S. Marines with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) receive their 2nd dose of the COVID-19 vaccination at Camp Lejeune, N.C. Feb. 1, 2021. In anticipation of an upcoming deployment, the 24th MEU is the first organization of its kind to be granted unit-wide distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine as part of a standardized and coordinated strategy prioritization by the Department of Defense.
