Sailors assigned to Naval Medical Readiness and Training Command Bethesda (NMRTC-Bethesda) talk about why they chose to get the COVID-19 vaccine. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have evidence of very high efficacy and are an additional public health measure to augment current measures to get us through this pandemic as soon as possible. This is a global pandemic, and will take time to extinguish. The more people that get vaccinated, the faster we can assess the evidence and make safe and informed changes to prevention measures and begin to relax additional public health measures.
