Blanchfield Army Community Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy Technician Ms. Jennifer Clark was responsible for ordering, tracking and receiving the hospital’s initial shipment of COVID-19 vaccine. Upon arrival, Clark and Clinical Pharmacist Dr. Nick Patterson had only minutes to inventory and transfer the sub-zero vaccine into an ultra-low freezer or risk prematurely activating the entire shipment. Both say it was a day to remember and share why they chose to get vaccinated.
