U.S. Army nurses and medical technicians participate in joint reception, staging, onward movement, and integration training in Madison, Wis., as part of Department of Defense COVID-19 response operations in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Dec. 11 and 12, 2020. Approximately 45 Soldiers from two U.S. Army Urban Augmentation Medical Task Forces, touched down in Wisconsin to set up and work alongside civilian healthcare providers, helping treat COVID-19 patients as part of the whole-of-America response to the pandemic. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency in support of the whole-of-America COVID-19 response.
