On November 30, 2020 the DoD Military-Civilian Transition Office (MCTO) hosted Dr. Laurie Santos of Yale University. The briefing was moderated by Dr. Nathan Ainspan, Senior Research Psychologist for MCTO. In her presentation, Dr. Santos summarized the research findings from her happiness course - The Science of Well-Being. She discussed how her findings can be applied to the life choices made by transitioning service members and veterans so that they can lead more satisfying lives as civilians.
