U.S. Service members deployed to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, were given the opportunity to compete alongside their French counterparts at the French Desert Commando Course. The course included events such as water and mountain obstacles, rucking, running and troop movements. At the end of the almost two-week course, participants who completed every task, without failing, received the French Desert Commando Badge.
