201108-M-UY835-1001 SAN CLEMENTE ISLAND, Calif. (Nov. 8, 2020) – U.S. Marines with 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, call in an AGM-114 Hellfire missile from a U.S. Navy MH-60S Sea Hawk with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8), during a close-air support training event. The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the 15th MEU are currently conducting routine operations in the eastern Pacific Ocean. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl. Patrick Crosley)
