201007-M-JX780-2001 SAN CLEMENTE ISLAND, Calif. (Oct. 7, 2020) – U.S. Sailors assigned to Assault Craft Unit 5, pilot Landing Craft, Air Cushion 79 as it transports high mobility artillery rocket systems with India Battery, Battalion Landing Team 1/4, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, from the amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) to San Clemente Island, California. The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the 15th MEU are currently conducting at-sea training events in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Lance Cpl.
