U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District

    ((Anchor Intro))
When Hurricane Laura devastated southwest Louisiana as a category four storm, FEMA called on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to aid in disaster recovery efforts. Doing so in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic created new challenges that needed to be overcome. Mike Glasch shows us how USACE kept their responders safe while still providing much needed releif to the resident of Louisiana.

The safety measures put into place resulted in zero USACE employees testing positive for the virus.
