Jeremy Burton, a pilot from the 153rd Airlift Wing, Wyoming Air National Guard, and Staff Sgt. Larisa Jenson, a loadmaster from the wing.

    For nearly two weeks, a team from the 153rd Airlift Wing out of Cheyenne, Wyoming, has operated a Modular Airborne Firefighting System (MAFFS) along with California and Nevada National Guards to assist the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) battling several large fires, some of which rank as California’s largest wildfires in history.
