Samuel Spearman, military police officer, both with Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River Provost Marshal Office, speak on the Field Training Officer Program (FTO) on MCB Camp Lejeune, Aug. 11, 2020. MCAS New River recently implemented the FTO program, a 12-16 week course designed through the Marine Corps Police Academy system, in order to ensure that military police officers are trained to be more proficient and skillful at their duties to further the forces’ readiness.
