PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Twenty six Soldiers and Airmen from the Arizona National Guard who had a COVID-19 infection and have recovered got an opportunity to support their communities in a unique way Aug. 7 at Papago Park Military Reservation by donating their plasma to aid in the recovery of currently infected Arizonans. Convalescent COVID-19 plasma contains anti-bodies doctors can use to treat patients currently suffering from COVID-19.
