We. Are. Back.
Marines are back marching on the historic parade deck at Marine Barracks Washington as the 2020 Evening Parade Season begins, Friday, June 26!
In order to successfully and safely conduct Evening Parades, the Barracks is following Department of Defense guidelines and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations. Additionally, we have implemented several of Washington D.C.’s safeguards to include: physical distancing for patrons, health screenings, and mandatory wear of protective equipment to enter. This year’s parades will look a little different than in years past; however, the Marines’ ceremonial excellence remains unaffected and will not disappoint.
While COVID-19 health guidelines will restrict the number of guests allowed to watch Friday Evening Parades in person, we are excited to showcase our ceremonies VIRTUALLY.
Be sure to monitor Marine Barracks Washington's social media pages to see highlights of our Evening Parades. And tune in to our Faceook page Friday, July 3 a 8;45 pmto see an Evening parade LIVE!
