Readiness starts long before the mission. Members of the 113th Logistics Readiness Squadron ensured Airmen assisting the civil unrest mission in Washington, DC, were equipped with critical supplies to be operationally ready June 11. Soldiers and Airmen from the District of Columbia National Guard mobilized in support of the District’s response to increasing protest threats across the city on June 1 assisting U.S. Park Police, federal police and the Metro Police Department.
