Limited crew members participated in the Coast Guard Cutter Munro’s (WMSL 755) modified change-of-command ceremony aboard the cutter while moored at Base Alameda, Calif., May 1, 2020. Vice Admiral Linda Fagan, commander Pacific Area, provided remarks for the crew via video. The change-of-command ceremony is a historic military tradition that represent the formal transfer of authority and responsibility for a unit from one commanding officer to another.
