Defense Department Support to FEMA COVID-19       

The U.S. Army nurses with the Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force 332-1 helped supplement the University Hospital’s staff while reducing the patient-to-nurse ratio, Newark, N.J. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for the whole-of-nation COVID-19 response.
