21st Theater Sustainment Command chaplains conducted a virtual National Day of Prayer ceremony 06 May, 2020 on Panzer Kaserne in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

#DYK the National Day of Prayer is an annual event held on the first Thursday in May. Days of prayer have been called for since 1775, when the Continental Congress designated a time for prayer in forming a new nation. The National Day of Prayer was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman on 17 April 1952 . The law was amended by Congress and signed by President Ronald Reagan on 5 May 1988, designating the first Thursday of May as a day of national prayer
