The 168th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, ferried two new F-35A Lightning II aircraft from the Lockheed Martin factory in Fort Worth, Texas, to the 354th Fighter Wing, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, April 21, 2020. Eielson AFB combines a strategically important location with a world-class training experience, providing an optimal environment for pilots of the fifth-generation aircraft to train and operate, with the 168th Wing providing aerial refueling capabilities 24/7.
