During the week of April 7, members of 213th Regional Support Group, Pennsylvania National Guard were working to assist the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services in the dissemination of meals to dozens to distribution centers across the commonwealth. These meals, as many as 25,000 a day, will resupply county emergency management agencies, senior citizen centers, food banks and other charitable organizations.
Interview: Staff Sgt. Lindsey Underkoffler of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania is with the 131st Transportation Company, 228th Transportation Battalion, 213 Regional Support Group, as a Motor Transpiration Operator. Following the interview she drove to the western part of Pennsylvania to deliver boxes of shelf stable meals.
