Sgt. Margot Thraen is a Combat Medic assigned to 834th Aviation Support Battalion and additionally serves as the Master Fitness Trainer for her company. In early February, she led a familiarization workshop on the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) for her fellow Soldiers while deployed to the Middle East in support of Operation Spartan Shield and Operation Inherent Resolve. Despite the implementation of this test has been postponed (due to the COVID-19 Crisis), it is still important for Soldiers to stay physically fit and to get a feel for what to expect from the new test that will become the official physical fitness test of record sometime in the future.
