The Japan Air Self-Defense Force demonstrates the capabilities of is ShinMaywa US-2 Amphibious Aircraft in a joint rescue exercise with their Raytheon U-125A search and rescue aircraft. The exercise was designed for the possibility of retrival of downed pilots during combat situations.
