The Marine Corps is commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima during a 36-day-long observance, Feb. 19 – March 2, 2020. This year’s theme, “We are Iwo,” honors the efforts and sacrifices of all service members, reflects on the power of teamwork, and celebrates the adaptation, resilience and readiness still embodied in today’s Marines.
