The NOTM-A provides a command and control capability to mission commanders while airborne. The California-based MEU will serve as the Command Element, Special Purpose Marine Air-ground Task Force- Crisis Response- Central Command 20.2 during their upcoming spring deployment to U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
