Video of the Arizona 4-mile modification near Yuma, Arizona, February 7, 2020. Dubbed the Arizona 4-mile Mod, this DHS-funded project will eventually connect to 2808-funded Yuma 2. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, is providing contracting services, including design and construction oversight, of Customs and Border Protection border barrier projects in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas as authorized and appropriated by Congress, while the South Pacific Border District is doing the same for Department of Defense-funded southwest border barrier projects.
