200123-M-IR130-1001 JORDAN (Jan. 23, 2020) Boatswain’s Mate First Class Elisha Chastain, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), explains the process of pulling in and out of port. Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is conducting bilateral training in partnership with the Royal Jordanian Marines and Navy in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
