U.S. Army Spc. Sagen Maddalena, a Woodland, California native, competes at the Air Rifle Olympic Trials - Part II February 8, 2020 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Top competitors from across the United States compete side by side in the 10m air rifle discipline for a spot on Team USA in the 2020 Olympics. Scores from Part I (December 2019) and Part II will be added together to determine who makes Team USA in the Women's 10m Air Rifle Event.

She was an eight-time All American from 2014 to 2018 with the University of Alaska Rifle team, a World Champion team member in 2014 and 2018, a part of the President’s 100 in 2010 and a Distinguished Rifleman in 2011.
