Troopers with 2nd Squadron "Dakota", 13th Cavalry Regt., 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, train survivability medical skills during the Dakota First Responder course at Fort Bliss, Texas, Jan. 13-16. The Dakota First Responder course teaches Troopers how to react under battlefield conditions to keep fellow service members alive until they are able to receive further care at a Combat Support Hospital.
