Roberto Ciambetti, chairman of the Veneto Region Council met with the U.S. Army Garrison Italy Commander, Col. Daniel Vogel along with other Soldiers from the Vicenza Community to thank them for their help in cleaning up Venice in December. Last fall the city of Venice saw the worst flooding since 1974 and the Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers program organized a volunteer team to help save Venice.
