Hangar 1801 was built circa 1950 and was used for various units on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. It was demolished January 2020 for the purposes of a new hangar, intended for the KC-46A Pegasus. It will be a two-bay maintenance hangar big enough to house the new refueling tankers. The hangar is expected to be completed in 2021.
