U.S. Army Sgt. Patrick Sunderman, a Farmington, Minnesota native, competes at the Air Rifle Paralympic Trials - Part 1 December 6-8, 2019 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Top competitors from across the United States compete side by side in the air rifle discipline for a spot on Team USA in the 2020 Olympics. Scores from Part 1 will be added to Olympic Trials - Part 2, which will also be held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 6-9, 2020.

Note: Sgt. Patrick Sunderman had a distinguished shooting career prior to joining the Army. He was a four time NCAA National Champion from 2013-2016 with the West Virginia University Rifle Team. He has won several championship metals since he joined the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit in 2016.
