Kevin Nguyen, a Westminister, California native, competes at the Air Rifle Paralympic Trials - Part 1 December 6-8, 2019 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Top competitors from across the United States compete side by side in the air rifle discipline for a spot on Team USA in the 2020 Olympics. Scores from Part 1 will be added to Olympic Trials - Part 2, which will also be held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 6-9, 2020.

Note: Staff Sgt. Kevin Nguyen is part of the World Class Athlete Program. He is a Purple Heart recipient as a result of stepping on a pressure plate IED during Operation Enduring Freedom 12-13 in Afghanistan. He has earned numerous medals since he started competing in 2016.
