Soldiers with 1-1 ADA took the chance to show of their operating procedures to the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force and the Japanese Air Self Defense Force during Southern Spear 2019 at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 18, 2019. Southern Spear allows the Air Defense Artillery personnel for both US and Japanese assets to learn more about each other's operations and how to better interact in joint environments.
