U.S. Coast Guard WWII veteran, Alex Obrizok, presents the Coast Guard Cutter Tampa with a historic Coast Guard Ensign in Portsmouth, Virginia Nov. 21, 2019. Obrizok, a 96-year-old veteran, joined the Coast Guard in 1942 and served up until 1946. During his time in the Coast Guard he acquired a Coast Guard Ensign, and the flag remained in his possession for over 73 years. He recently rediscovered the flag and made it a mission to return this World War II artifact to the current Coast Guard Cutter Tampa. (U.S. Coast Guard video by Petty Officer 2nd Class Adam Stanton)
