This footage contains b-roll of Marines operating in full protective posture and using radiological detection equipment in low-light conditions. Footage also includes interviews from Chief Warrant Officer 4 Felix Ortiz and Sgt. Nicholas Guldi during a radiological training course at the Government Training Institute in Barnwell, South Carolina, Dec. 12, 2019. During the course, the Marines learn enhanced radiological and nuclear reconnaissance and surveillance while also testing new equipment to better handle future threats the Marine Corps may face. Ortiz is the chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense officer of Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 2.
