SSgt McConnell with the Utah Air National Guard serves as an interpreter during the Humanitarian Mine Action program training in Kenitra, Morocco, Dec 2-13, 2019. U.S. Marines and Sailors with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa 20.1, Marine Forces Europe and Africa, are working together with the Utah National Guard and the Moroccan military conducting a humanitarian mine action explosive ordnance disposal train-the-trainer period of instruction to develop the Moroccan’s skills in order to train their own personnel in preparation for future operations.
