    Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton

    U.S. Marines with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 775 run a preflight inspection on a UH-1Y Venom helicopter before it takes off from Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, California, Dec. 5 2019. Also known as the “Coyotes,” HMLA-775 was reactivated on Camp Pendleton in 2016 after being decommissioned for nearly eight years. The air station operates and maintains a secure airfield in order to support I Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton tenant commands and visiting units to enhance their mission capabilities and combat readiness.
