The Brostrom Challenge is a way the 173rd Airborne Brigade remembers 1st Lt. Jonathan Brostrom who was killed on July 13, 2008 during the Battle of Wanat in Afghanistan. This event is a rigorous four hour test where each platoon of 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment participated in.
