ZAHS Homecoming Game 2019:
Narration:
Seventh-graders through seniors at Zama Middle High School showed their “Trojan Pride” during a week homecoming activities October 15th through the 19th, culminating with their varsity football game on October 18 against Robert D. Edgren High School from Misawa Air Base.

In the days leading up to the game, the school held numerous events as part of a weeklong homecoming celebration. These included a pep rally and a girls’ “Powder Puff” flag football game between the sophomores and seniors, and the freshmen and juniors. After the game was a traditional bonfire. Prior to the varsity game on Friday night, the school put on its annual parade, which traveled through the streets of Camp Zama and allowed the community to come out and celebrate the Trojans’ homecoming.

Narration:
The game quickly turned in favor of the Trojans, who scored three touchdowns and two successful two-point conversions in the first quarter alone. Zama went on to score another three touchdowns and two more two-point conversion in the third quarter, and finished the game with a final touchdown in the fourth quarter. The Trojans’ defense was also solid throughout the game, leading to a 50-to-zero shutout against Edgren.
