Service dogs and their trainers from Mutts with Mission visit the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District to explain the role, reasons and rights of service animals, and those who use service animals, during a presentation hosted by the Norfolk District Equal Employment Opportunity Office, Oct. 2, 2019. The event was part of National Disability Employment Awareness month, which was declared in 1988 by Congress to raise awareness of the employment needs and contributions of individuals with all types of disabilities.
