U.S. Marine combat engineers with 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistic Group and Papua New Guinea Defense Force (PNGDF) Sappers build a bridge foundation during exercise Koa Moana 19 in Lae, Papua New Guinea, on Sept. 23rd, 2019. Koa Moana serves as a joint training exercise between I Marine Expeditionary Force Marines and the PNGDF to improve relationships and interoperability within the Indo-Pacific Region.
