Petty Officer 3rd Class Julie Hall, a Coast Guard Tall Ship Eagle Boatswains Mate, speaks about her roles on the ship, Summer Tour 2019 and her overall experience being station aboard the Eagle.
The primary mission of the Eagle is training. In addition to learning the nautical traditions of their profession, cadets learn basic seamanship and navigation skills as well as important team-building and leadership skills.
