U.S. Soldiers observe and control a room clearing exercise as the Ukraine Special Police Force conducts a cordon and search exercise drill during Rapid Trident 2019, Sept. 17, 2019, in Yavoriv, Ukraine. The exercise included vehicle movements of troops, hostage negotiation and recovery, building clearing and first aid. Rapid Trident 2019, is an annual, multinational exercise that supports joint combined interoperability among the partner militaries of Ukraine and the United States, as well as Partnership for Peace nations and NATO allies, which involves approximately 3,700 personnel from 14 nations, Sept. 13-28, 2019, Yavoriv, Ukraine.
