Over the past 236 years, numerous ships have borne the name USS New York, but none are more significant than this amphibious transport dock. With the bow including seven and a half tons of World Trade Center steel, this ship is a constant reminder that we will always rise up during difficult times, and our fallen will never be forgotten.
