Construction crews continue work on the new border wall system along the Southwest border near San Luis, Ariz., 20 August 2019.
Construction on this particular segment of the wall system began in early 2019 and it is expected to be completed in early 2020. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), has completed construction of over 60 miles of new border wall system along the Southwest border, as of August 20, 2019.
