Social media post: Check out this Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) live-fire on Fort Sill. @75th Field Artillery Brigade
Watching these rockets launch in SLOW MOTION is so satisfying.
Cutline: Soldiers in 2nd Battalion, 4th Field Artillery Regiment conduct live-fire missions during their field training excercise (FTX) while being observed by the brigade commander, validating their launcher crews. Also known as Artillery Table XV, this certification training demonstrates battery-level proficiency in establishing operations and processing cannon/launcher fire missions. Training and evaluation of precision and non-precision capabilities at the battery level are necessary to ensure a role of destroying, defeating or disrupting the enemy with integrated fires to enable maneuver commanders to dominate in unified land operations.
