The 176th Wing Maintenance Group takes safety seriously. Part of being prepared for any situation is preparing for contingencies such as an injury to personnel working on and in the airframes they maintain. This exercise simulates the course of action that would take place if a person was inside a tank and sustained an injury. The response was swift, with maintenance personnel working together with firefighters to safely evacuate and evaluate the patient. Exercises like these ensure competency and accuracy in all we do.
