The 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command conducted a change of command ceremony and transition to a one-star command Aug. 7 on Daenner Kaserne. During the ceremony, Col. David E. Shank relinquished command to Brig. Gen. Gregory J. Brady. The 10th AAMDC moved to a one-star general officer level command, transitioning to an identical command structure as the other two active duty Army Air and Missile Defense headquarters. The transition
supports the increase in air and missile defense forces and capabilities in U.S. Army Europe, while continuing to support European Deterrence Initiative requirements.
