Members of Coast Guard Station Barnegat Light respond to a fire aboard a 20-foot recreational boat near Harvey Cedars, New Jersey on Aug. 10th, 2019.
Two boaters aboard were rescued by a commercial towing vessel, while the Coast Guard rescue crew used a P6 pump and hose to reduce the fire and prevent property damage as the flaming vessel drifted toward shore. Coast Guard crews reduced it to 95% extinguished and local police brought it to shore for a local fire department to take control of.
